New brand

Pause Collective was founded in early 2024 with a mission to make transformative experiences available to everyone, by offering retreats and workshops to facilitate self-discovery and personal growth.

The brief

We were engaged by Pause Collective to create a new brand for the Melbourne-based start-up.

The brief was to:

   Create a cohesive, overarching visual identity that could also extend to include the product branding of Pause:Balance, Pause:Reset, Pause:Reflect, and Pause:Retreat.
   Create an identity that embodied a sense of calm, quiet, and reflection, in line with the company’s purpose and service offerings.
   Create, present, and refine three visual identity concepts.
   Design and implement all brand collateral.

The outcome

As a new brand, determining the tone of voice (brand personality) for the written and visual identity was paramount to setting the direction the Pause brand should take in market.

Three complete visual identity concepts were designed and presented to the client, with the more mature, still, and calm concept being unanimously chosen.

The logos, icons, visual brand identity, website designs, and remaining collateral were successfully designed and finalised for the client within a few short weeks.
